About ACSP
ACSP is a flagship program developed by Higher Education Without Borders (HEWB), a non-profit organization committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education that empowers individuals from socially and ethnically diverse backgrounds by equipping them with the scientific and technical skills demanded by the modern job market.
HEWB fosters access to prestigious national and international universities and actively collaborates with academic institutions and partners to design forward-thinking educational programs rooted in empowerment, intellectual growth, and personal development.
Through its activities, HEWB plays a key role in shaping a new generation of globally competent learners and professionals, while continuously adapting to technological advancements and evolving societal needs.
Our Pedagogical Model
Our pedagogical model is built on four pillars: rich digital content, an integrated LMS, close online mentorship, and active, project-based learning (Learning by doing)
Digital Video
10 to 15-minute video capsules featuring clear explanations and engaging visuals. Each capsule includes theoretical insights, practical demonstrations, and real-world case studies. To enhance accessibility, subtitles and full transcripts are provided. Learners can also benefit from interactive features such as embedded quizzes to reinforce understanding and engagement.
LMS Platform
A central hub to host and organize all learning resources. It facilitates communication between learners and instructors through forums, messaging tools, and notifications. The platform also enables the management of evaluations, including quizzes, assignments, and progress tracking. In addition, it supports group work and collaborative projects, fostering teamwork and peer-to-peer learning.
Online Mentorship
Led by professors and instructors to ensure continuous academic support throughout the learning journey. Professors hold pedagogical responsibility for the courses, offer weekly live office hours, and supervise the work of instructors to maintain teaching quality and consistency. Instructors provide hands-on support through live Q&A sessions, actively moderate discussion forums and FAQs, and deliver constructive feedback on exercises and projects.
Learning Structure
A progressive learning structure that combines flexibility, interaction, and hands-on application: Asynchronous Learning based on pre-recorded video lessons, quizzes, and forum discussions, allowing students to progress at their own pace. Synchronous Interactions through live office hours with professors and interactive sessions led by instructors. Collaborative Projects where learners participate in team-based work—from topic selection to final presentation.
The program is continuously improved through student evaluations, monitoring of technological advancements, and feedback from the job market
